Hi, I’m Zack Gelnaw-Rubin, a fifteen-year veteran of NYC’s craft cocktail industry.

I offer workshops for bartenders and home hobbyists as well as consulting on menu and recipe development.

After building my foundations at Dutch Kills Bar, I’ve spent a decade on the staff at Attaboy mastering Sasha Petraske’s “Milk & Honey” style of bartending. In 2011, I helped launched the first company to produce large format clear ice, which has since become the global industry standard for high-quality cocktails.

My original cocktail recipes — including The Bicycle Thief; Debbie, Don’t; and The Inner Child — are enjoyed in bars and homes around the world.

In my workshops, I distill 15 years of experience working in the Petraske bars to teach you the core skills and wisdom you need to confidently execute cocktail recipes and to create your own recipes.

Whether you are new to the industry, an established bartender, or a home hobbyist, I’m honored to pass on the tradition.
